Flow and Release
This class is designed to both energize and restore through a combination of both yin and yang styles of yoga. The practice opens with dynamic vinyasa sequences (the Yang) to build heat and strength, followed by slow, deep holds and passive stretches (the Yin) to expand flexibility and cultivate ease. Suitable for practitioners seeking for both a physical challenge and release in one class.
Jojo is a (former) New Yorker currently based in Athens. In 2014, she left her corporate job to open the first English-speaking yoga studio in Myanmar, which grew into a wellness group of 2 yoga studios, a vegan restaurant and natural beauty salon. She has organized dozens of yoga retreats across southeast Asia and provided holistic health and wellness consulting services for hospitality and corporate clients.
Jojo's intention on the mat is to offer a lighthearted practice with plenty of space to grow and explore. She aims to build greater confidence in her students and empower them to blend different modalities to create a yoga practice that honors their individual needs. Jojo has completed 500+ hours of trainings, including in Vinyasa, Yin yoga, mandala vinyasa, and yoga therapeutics.
