Bryony Giboin founder of Yogabstudio in partnership with Inner Hive will be your guide on this journey to embrace a deep understanding of what yoga is and how to embody the teachings and philosophy to change your life. Integrating the modern physical practice with the traditional roots of Hatha yoga this course will teach you how to become the best version of your self and facilitator of yoga for all.

We are offering an intimate class size with a maximum of ten participants for personalised mentoring and an abundance of love and support as you work your way through this course, which focuses on Yoga as a philosophical, anatomical, psychological and spiritual practice.

Through this yoga teacher training you will learn
We will cover all of your anatomy needs, from the skeletal system to the respiration system, muscular and functions. We learn about injuries and how to protect ourselves and our students and much much more!
An in depth study will take place as we look at the history of yoga, learn about Patanjali and the Yoga sutras and other eastern philosophies. We dive deep into learning how to take these beautiful teachings and apply them to our everyday lie. Learning how to really make yoga a lifestyle and how yoga can expand our peace of mind.
We will explore the origins of yoga and all the religious influences and key figure heads that created yoga as we know it today. We take a journey through the history of yoga - where did it come from, who was it influenced by, what and how has it developed into the practise that we see today. We learn about important yogis who helped shaped yoga and the importance they played in the yoga world. By understanding the history of yoga we start to create a deeper relationship to the practise.
We will cover the postures, break them down look at the correct alignment of each asana, how to safely approach postures, how to teach modifications, how the postures benefit the body, mind and subtle body and much more.
We will spend time learning basic pranayama and how to teach it and its healing benefits.
We will join in group meditation every day and we will learn lots of different styles and practises. Every Morning we will gather for vipasana mediation. Every afternoon we will learn a different meditation technique to allow you to try a variety of styles not only to help you find what works for you but also to have a tool bag of meditation skills to share with others.
We will look into the subtle body discovering the chakras system and its effect on the body in yoga and our psyche, the nadis and the bandhas. the yogi locks and how they play a role in breath work and asana practise.
We take time to really allow you to find your voice, find your authentic self in your teaching. We look at ways in which to set your voice tone, when to demonstrate when to use vocal ques and much more.
We will spend time learning about adjustments how to safely perform them and different techniques. We look at how to adjust mindfully with our students and safely, in the 200 hour programme we will learn energetic alignment adjustments, Points of reassurance and energatic relaxation adjustment and of course we learn how to share Bryony's famous savasana assists!
Applying all of the anatomy and philosophy knowledge you will learn how to create extremely safe and creative sequences. We will learn how to do theme based classes. Learning the art of sequencing and good safe sequencing is incredibly important for preventing injuries and warming up key elements of the body. We will learn what areas of the body need to be opened up for certain postures, how prep postures are important, how to time a class, how to sequence for different levels .
Neuroscience and Yoga
How modern research supports the teachings of yoga and the effects yoga has on the brain.
We will explore the modern world of yoga and talk about ways to run a successful yoga business. What steps you can take to work as a yoga teacher!

This intensive Yoga Teacher Training will be held at the wonderful Armonia Retreats whoes facilities are modern with an emphasis on beauty and serenity and ideally located in the heart of the picturesque traditional village of Douliana, near Chania in the magical Islnd of Crete. A place where you can breathe, unwind and relax whilst embarking upon a new and enlightening spiritual journey. A place where you will be submerged within nature and find your inner self.
Bryony's spiritual journey began when she packed her bags and took to traveling the world in her early 20's knowing there had to be more in life than working like she had be socially conditioned to do. She commenced to letting herself learn from nature, different religions and civilisations, strangers and her spiritual teachers. It was at this time when she had been suffering from illness and depression, she took back her power and healed herself through the teachings of yoga and more profoundly meditation.
Bryony has been a student of yoga for nearly 18 years and has been working with the body for as long as she could walk having trained as a professional dancer, worked as an international celebrity fitness trainer and she is also a certified holistic life coach. It is upon the background that she has developed and is known for her strong dynamic yoga asana classes, that challenge and establish both mental and physical strength. Her classes are sweaty, fun and rich in tradition. She is known for her continuous studies and knowledge of the Yoga History and Philosophy and her passion for the philosophy of yoga is integrated in her classes as she feels the power of yoga moves beyond just the asana.
Bryony is soon to have over 1500 hours of yoga teacher training certification and she deeply believes that yoga can enhance and radically transform the lives of all those who choose to walk this path.

Sophia is a biomedical research scientist and a yogi and meditation enthusiast.
She completed her DPhil in Immunology from the University of Oxford, UK. She went on to be a postdoctoral research fellow in Neuroscience at Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, USA. There she investigated the beneficial impact of exercise on the brain and cognitive performance. Currently she is working as a researcher in Al.Fleming Biomedical Science Research Center, Athens Greece. Her scientific interests still lie in the field of exercise, neurogenesis and angiogenesis. Her journey with yoga and meditation began during her graduate studies as tools for stress and mental health management, but since then have evolved into daily and lifestyle practices which she is keen to develop further.
